Recently I've been combining two hobby's, I made a European Walnut stand for my notebook PC at home, so the keyboard sits at 45 degree and the screen can then be opened up so it is vertical. This positions the top of the screen at eye level and will help to reduce the risk of RSI at home.
To support this I bought a new USB keyboard, now this is where the trouble begins. I of course live in euro land and use the euro symbol a lot, it is AltGr 5 on most systems and so is on my IBM Notebook.
Now I did not check, but the new keyboard does not have an AlTGr button but on either side of the space bar is only Alt buttons! The euro symbol is there as the third option on the 5 key but I cannot enable it. I've loaded the special driver that came with it (albeit I still did that even though all the features (calculate button, open email client button ..... ) all worked without the new driver, but that did not solve the problem.
Now I remember in the old days of Windows you could alter your keyboard map, does anyone have any solutions for me I've searched and searched
