I've just got here to Copenhagen to attend ReBoot9 ,a meeting I've tried a few times to get to, but my scheduled could not be wrestled free.
What was nice was a very good friend of mine flew the plane I came on and she invited me to sit in the jump set between her and her 1st Officer, a very pleasant ride I must admit to get to my hundredth country, now I just need to drink a Carlsberg to make it count.
What was very interesting was watching my friend and her co-pilot run the procedures, by the book of course it taken literally for very good reasons in the aviation business. It just seems a world away from my world of big company procedures which are merely guidelines in most cases. She is not like that at all in her private life quite a contrast but not a change of personality which was nice
Any way a nice flight fully manual landing very smooth and a goodbye hug, what more could a Welshman want in life.
