New Toys

Carrrying a locked down work PC I cannot load iTunes nor access the files on my iPod, so at Schipol I bought  a new toy, a sort of doughnut shaped JBL On Stage II speaker for my iPod so I can listen in comfort in my hotel room.

A big plus is that  it can be powered by my PC power supply - saves carting round another one.

The sound quality is excellent, pity you cannot here it here, you'll have to make do with a crap photo from my ageing XDA II

New Toys

We went along to Lilia and Roberts pre wedding lunch the other day and I gave Femke my camera for the day, she had great fun snapping everyone and learning about camera shake flashes etc.

All in all she took some very nice photo's, what was also very interesting was the fact that Anke met a few bloggers, Janine, Ton and Lilia who knew things about us, house, Italy etc etc, now I'm used to this but it was new to Anke, luckily she just smiled her knowing and accepting smile.

So much so we decided (well I) to give her my camera and then I could buy a new one (does that sound like an excuse or what) Luckily I have a very understanding wife.

So the new Kodak P850 has entered the fold, So Femke and I can share batteries and my wide angle lens, and I also bought the Zoom flash. I'm very pleased and the extra resolution and the flash power is much better than Femke's Kodak 6490

Now we are both snapping away to anything that moves, problem is now Owain wants one - time for yet another upgrade?
